Joe Gillivan, TEC Chair, NS, President, Serviam Executive CoachingAs President and Owner of Serviam Executive Coaching Inc. and Master Chair with The Executive Committee (TEC) Canada, a member-based, peer-to-peer leadership development organization founded in 1985, Joe, a certified executive coach, provides one-on-one executive coaching to help develop high-performance leaders and teams to grow their business and grow themselves.

With over 10 years of executive coaching experience and over 30 years of experience in leadership roles, Joe currently chairs two CEO TEC groups and one TEC Key group comprised of the region’s most successful leaders. In addition, he provides individual coaching sessions monthly to each CEO TEC member and executive coaching to individual leaders in our business community.

Passionate about the art of great leadership, Joe harnesses the power of his experience and expertise to help good leaders become great by teaching them how to make better decisions that drive growth—personally and professionally.

Joe Gillivan holds an Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) designation with the Adler International Learning in Toronto. He has earned his Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentials from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He was awarded TEC Master Chair by TEC Canada.

He is a committed volunteer and servant leader, believing strongly in giving back to those communities he has called home. Over the years, Joe has supported many charitable and not-for-profit organizations such as the Salvation Army, Phoenix Youth, the Nova Scotia Hospital, as well as the Hotel Association of Nova Scotia, the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, and the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia, to name a few.

Joe resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia with his wife Jennifer and their family. He loves sailing, coastal hiking, and cooking for family and friends.
